Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins is a Mexican American Sportscaster. Her employer is ESPN and is a SportsCenter anchor for news. She began working for ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of television journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is a native bilingual. From the age of nine years old, her ability to communicate in two languages led to her obtaining an employment in Miami as an assistant production for Univision. Eventually, they settled in Mexico City and she was born on the 22nd of November, 1985. She's more mature than her younger sister. The family settled in Miami following the move from Mexico into the US. Within a brief time her father separated from her mother. She later remarried in the year 1995 to a naval architect whose name was Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away from kidney cancer in 2006. On a trip Antonietta spent the time at the house of her sister Canton Ohio. Her older Collins brother had recently been offered an offer to work. Antonietta, a high-school senior who had a vision of how she wanted her future to be like, visited Mount Union University in order to find out what she could get out of the college. The result was that she liked the campus, and the university had the program she desired. When she finished her high school education, she chose to enroll at the university and major in media studies. Her professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was member of her class, developed an ongoing relationship with the student. He encouraged her to be self-confident and also his love in journalism was a huge influence on her. She, was determined to meet his expectations and never fail him.
