LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball player who is a player with the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. He is known for his role as King James and is considered as one of the greatest basketball players of all time. James has been awarded four NBA championships, four NBA MVPs Three All-Star MVPs, and two Olympic medals. James has earned the second highest number of career goals, and the seventh most assists. James has been named as an NBA All-Star 18 times. James is the NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, a record. He was also selected for The NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. He has been a part of more than 10 NBA Finals, the third-most in history. The streak spans eight consecutive years between 2011-2018. James was chosen to join the NBA75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022, he became only the third NBA player ever to score more than 10,000 career points. James played basketball in St. Vincent St. Mary High School close to his home in Akron Ohio. His future NBA career was hyped up by media. In 2003, the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the number one pick of the NBA draft in 2003. In 2004, he received the title of NBA Rookie. Then, he quickly was one of the league's best players and was awarded the NBA MVP in both the years 2009 and 2010. James, who did not take home the title in Cleveland, in the year 2010, quit as a free-agent and signed with the Miami Heat. This was made clear as part of The Decision. It is one of the most controversial choices made by a free agent in sports history.
